DO NOT DOWNLOAD !!!

This is the worst idea since ever,*** is going on with hyper mp.
Every 50 sec. it tries to connect with the hyper mp site, and is stopping the playback of the flick. This is the wost piece of ad-ware I've seen in years.

Why is minninova helping this cr-ap?? Does anyone think this should be the future ??

After three interruptions I had enough of this *****.After closing the file hyper mp stil tries to connect with their site, and cuts of IE.

Sorry for the flick, it deserves a better upload, but this is not the way I want to see a flim.

Cheers,

-the Queef-

Frankly, I am shocked at this. You are forcing people to watch ads by packaging this is a WINDOWS ONLY executable that prevent open information sharing. As with "The Queef", this is the worse idea ever. ---respect.

In fact, I detect a "deHpyerMP" program coming along....

6.Posted by joepep on Nov 19 2008 at 22:57

Guys, read the **** http://****.mininova.org/articles/2008/11/19/mininova-and-hyper-mp-testing-new-technology/ This is only a test trial and noone is being forced to watch it. It always comes down to freedom of choice. I have been a user of mininova for years now and I have always trusted this site. If mininova wants to test out new technology then they should be able to. Criticism is always good, without it there would never be any progress. Some people don't mind it, others do, that's freedom of choice.

freedom of choice is not listening to your rant and rave joepep.... you are the weakest link... GOODBYE

8.Posted by lw9k on Nov 20 2008 at 03:04

Stop whining, stupid people.
@joepep: I agree.

Your poor precious souls!

I say good on HyperMP for thinking of and putting together such a simple yet brilliant concept. Times need to change. Lately, I’m seeing too much ****py content. We need content that’s backed by more *****. If it means putting up with small ads in the corner then so be it? I’m sure HyperMP will one day soon be a vehicle for premium content which would be of high video format and will be one of the first to hit the torrents. How are we going to compete with that with our own ****ty rips??? How long will it take for ripped content to be totally banned and blocked? I wonder?

Sure executables may not be ideal but there’s ways to lock down and digitally sign executables which make them safer to use. I’m sure HyperMP might already be thinking that already. I honestly am not bothered to download an executable that’s a Mininova featured content.

I advise not to download if running windows vista it caused me to loose my side bar had to recoup from it

11.Posted by JAYWACKER on Nov 20 2008 at 21:41

Not for me, I like to burn what I download, just me and my thoughts. You are doing a good job here keep up your good work.

12.Posted by ganpachi on Nov 20 2008 at 22:47

Well if they can demonstrate that this is a workable concept then it might mean a competetor to Hulu which I can't even access in Canada FFS.

No shame in trying new things.

13.Posted by ganpachi on Nov 20 2008 at 22:51

HAHHAHHAH

Issue #1: clicking anywhere on the video gives a nasty error and refocuses the window. very annoying for people used to context menu alt+clicks

Issue #2: I hit the sign in/out button and signed out. When I tried to sign back in to view it, it gave me an invalid cred error and asked me to register.

I hate registering for ads. Couldn't they just serve them without any actions on my part?

What a horrible experience. :(

15.Posted by spastic81 on Nov 21 2008 at 02:53

I bet all the little spaz's rants r better than the movie

It's eazy to yell angrily, ever try calm and relaxed???

16.Posted by bernardcatch on Nov 21 2008 at 09:35

i dont like the idea either..they are only experimenting us..its just give and take process folks..we dont have a choice, but to ride with it..jst stay calm people..i already erased it in my download after encountering the first sign..sigh..
:)

17.Posted by Mr_zig on Nov 21 2008 at 10:25

right it looks like it's a 50/50 :+ . don't see any complaints on the quality so I’ll down load it and give you my two cents after I’ve seen it. lol

18.Posted by HalfBlindRat on Nov 28 2008 at 10:45

Hey, can anyone tell me if I can play subtitles (.sub or .srt files?) on this? And if not, will it be possible later with full releases?

19.Posted by chfwiggum on Nov 28 2008 at 18:20

After 2 years I finally fired up again a M$ OS just to see this whole new thing-and hey, devs, nice shot, player works like a charm. I truely believe this is an idea with perspective, the right way to go.
There's only one tiny thing-your implementation ****s. You really try to conquer a free market by coming up with a product full of restrictions?
A certain OS is needed, you need an internet conn up...tbc. Sure it's a first beta but it's easy to see the assumption is wrong.
Besides all the restrictions, file size is a gig - for axxo quality. This project as it is will defo go the same way ratdvd, DRM and others have gone.

btw, the movie really ****s, but that won't matter - it was the first of its kind.

20.Posted by Mhmrcs on Nov 28 2008 at 18:51

Fk Microsoft, Fk HyperMP, Fk Mininova (lately TPBay is better...).
This is a ploy to make ***** through advertising. Go to:
www.surfthechannel.com if you want to stream video.

21.Posted by ColacX on Dec 02 2008 at 22:22

gosh who's stupid enough to come up with this ****? must be some old geezer who clearly doesn't know what internet people likes. why don't they just encode the commercial into the video instead? preferably as a short overlay instead of long interruptions.

22.Posted by SelfSaboteur on Dec 08 2008 at 20:33

this is a bad idea :r

23.Posted by cyberbaifo on Dec 09 2008 at 14:51

Hey people, you don't see the point, this is an excellent idea:

- promotes Micr0$0ft (who needs to use Linux or Mac? Win is the best)
- promotes HyperMP
- helps to earn ***** to Mininova with our help

What about adverts? It's funny being interrupted every 30 seconds to see adverts or open webs, you don't see the funny side of this?

What about exes in our pcs? Why not? Don't worry, it's OK, trust in Mininova. I love exes. If you have any problem with this, simply uninstall your firewalls and antivirus.

What about a new player to play only this format? We don't need no more VLC, that plays all except this.

What about we can't share this with friends offline, or burn in a DVD? Who need to share?

What about subtitles in this? Who needs subtitles? Non english people? Don't worry about them.

Al this just when You Tube it's is allowing long and quality films in his site... Yes, they are other stream (and no advert) video sites, but adverts are funny!

This is a great idea!

24.Posted by cyberbaifo on Dec 09 2008 at 14:52

As failtoseed said: "will be one of the first to hit the torrents" "How long will it take for ripped content to be totally banned and blocked?" Mininova will do it, well done, torrents are out of date and are illegal.

Don't close your eyes to future: future is not P2P, future is streaming legal flims not allowed to download. This is the end of downloading, the beginnig of the streaming era.

Mininova, keep going with this, it's funny. The next step is adverts in all torrent sites, sure. Thanks Orwell. Thanks Mininova, keep doing it.

P.S. Oh, I've found a Twilight torrent (in another web) with subtitles, without adverts... Hyper MP vs. Twilight, what a dilemma.... mmm...

25.Posted by cyberbaifo on Dec 09 2008 at 14:55

"- helps to earn ***** to Mininova with our help"

mo ney is a banned word here? Then why Hyper MP?

26.Posted by anarchosynd on Dec 17 2008 at 21:34

Why is this Video an windows executable ???

It does not work on Windows and Mac OS X !
